Previous horseback experience is required. A trail guide certification is an asset. Good English skills, up-to-date first aid certification and ease with people are also highly valued.
If needed, additional training can be provided at the stable to ensure you’re fully prepared.
Guide guests on trail rides, groom and tack horses, provide basic care, welcome visitors, assist with horse training and help with daily stable tasks.
Pay is discussed based on your experience and skill level. Contract duration is usually between June and September.

Tractor experience is required — especially for feeding and cleaning enclosures. A valid driver’s license is essential. Experience in grounds/building maintenance is a bonus.
You’ll play a key role in effective daily operations: maintaining fences and trails, cleaning enclosures using a tractor, distributing hay and helping with seasonal work like snow removal, hay baling, or landscaping.
